I wrote these songs circa 2005 in Los Angeles, with the exception of the 'The Sun Song,' which was written in San Francisco after staying up all night with friends. For that one, I was looking out one of those classic SF bay windows and wrote it while watching the sun come up. Everyone else was crashed out around me, like expired soldiers on a party battlefield, splayed in all directions.

The EP was recorded in an abandoned church in San Diego by the honorable Kyle Thompson and we brought in a lot of talented people to flesh out the tunes, for which I'll always be very grateful.
